THE STORY OF IMPERIAL RIVER CHAPTER
Southwest Florida is home to several ABWA chapters that meet from Punta Gorda to Naples, but none of the existing meetings are convenient to the busy working women of Estero and Bonita Springs. A team comprised of members from chapters in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Sanibel-Captiva decided to create a new formation to serve this growing area of Lee County
The name “Imperial River Chapter” is derived from the body of water in Bonita Springs, FL that bears the same name. It is fed from the Kehl Canal, and flows westward through south Lee County into Estero Bay.
