Professional Development Programs
Our Chapter meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center, 9931 Interstate Commerce Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33913. Networking starts at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner and speaker/activity.
All meals include a pre-set salad and dressing w/ rolls and butter and Chef’s Choice Dessert, water/iced tea, coffee/tea. Cash bar in lobby. Visit our Eventbrite page to reserve your seat and dinner ($35).

March 13th, 2019 – Speed Networking comes to the Imperial River Chapter!
When networking feels good, it’s called “a great conversation” or “a lovely experience”. We’re going to have a “so good getting to know you!” time at this event! Speed Networking is loosely based on the concept of speed dating. Participants gather to exchange information about their professional backgrounds and business goals, within timed intervals. Stacey Adams is an Emmy-nominated former journalist and TV anchor turned financial representative with Alliance Financial Group . Gulfshore Business recently reported that, “Adams created her own brand, RICH (Retire In Confidence and Harmony), saying that she wants females to “own” the word “rich.” Stacey will speak about the courage it took to leave a 24-year Award winning TV News Career to transition to a new career. July 10th, 2019 – “Getting To Know You” Night
This is the meeting where we let down our hair and have a night out with the girls. Join us! We will play some Q&A-format “Getting To Know You” games over dinner, sure to inspire conversation and spark new relationships. DINNER: BBQ Chicken/BBQ Themed – Buffet Dinner

Oct 9th – TAMMY LYNN, Regional Director, Southwest Florida Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. In her role, Tammy Lynn oversees the fund-raising, awareness and medical/community outreach in Collier, Lee, Glades and Hendry counties. With the help of roughly 90 volunteers and a 12 member Advisory Board, the Southwest Florida team granted the wishes of 68 local children last year.
